PLAIN
SOHO/LASCO observed a full HALO CME on June 28, 2012. Event is
first seen in C2 at 06:36 UT as a symmetric halo which appears
as a multi-part event. Bright loop material over the south shows
eruptive related properties and is associated. The event continues
into the C3 field beginning 07:18 to 14:06 UT leaving the C3 field at 30 Rsun.
Time/height measurements were marked to 4 points in C2 with speeds
of 936.0 Km/sec at position angle 261 degrees. The event is marked to 7 points
in C3. Speeds average through both fields to 734.1 Km/sec at PA 260 degrees.
Acceleration -48.78 m/sec^2.
SDO/AIA 193 shows material from a cme beginning 05:24-06:33 UT over the south
hemisphere in difference images.
AIA 304A shows activated prominence material off the SE limb at 04:21 UT with
partial eruptive material 05:36-06:51 UT.
STEREO: Beacon data
COR2 A, 06:24 UT as a bright loop expanding over SW and South hemispheres.
Preliminary time/height measure gives 836.8 km/sec velocity at LE.
EUVI A, 05:45-06:35 UT flare from AR on disk in SW with CME and wave south.
COR2 B, 06:24 UT, expanding loops on SE and South.
Preliminary time/height measure gives 913.7 km/sec velocity at LE.
EUVI B, 05:45-06:25 UT, a flare with cme from AR on disk near SE limb.
From 05:55-07:25 UT, slow faint emission from SW area on limb.
The observation of this event is considered 'GOOD'. This CME is determined a BACKSIDED event.
