SOHO/LASCO Partial HALO CME 111226 UCMEO 93001 11227 1715/ 11226 61148 82130 2041/ 113// 323// 40497 11226 61103 81151 40426 ///// 2112/ 99999 PLAIN SOHO/LASCO observed a partial HALO CME on December 26, 2011. Event is first seen in C2 at 11:48 UT as a faint loop front over the north pole which expands and develops multi-loops with cavity and core material. The approximate width of the CME spans pa 204-113 degrees totaling 269 degrees wide. The event continues into the C3 field beginning 12:18-21:30 UT to 27 Rsun. Time/height measurements were marked at 5 points in C2 with speeds of 593.1 Km/sec at position angle 281 degrees. The event is marked to 11 points in C3. Speeds average through both fields to 497.4 Km/sec at PA 283 degrees. Acceleration of -6.54 m/s^2. SDO AIA 193 shows a dual ribbon eruption of a filament area located [N26,W04] northeast and adjacent to AR 11384 beginning 11:03-11:51 UT with faint dimming, wave, and bright post arcade. STEREO: Beacon data EUVI B, CME over limb in NW 11:06-12:16 UT with post arcade. COR2 B, loop beginning 12:10 UT expanding over west, northwest hemisphere. EUVI A, large burst in NE on limb beginning 11:15-12:05 UT. COR2 A, bright expanding loop beginning 11:54 UT. CME over east hemisphere. The observation of this event is considered 'GOOD'. This CME is determined a FRONTSIDED event.
