This note details the studies that are included in the cal directories. (LJB 11 January 2008) 1. adc Data is from the study regcal014. This study takes a 0 second full CCD exposure. The data is used to calculate the ADC offset of the CCDs. *Please note that this study has been replaced by study regcal074 which will include the prescan pixels (this will allow a more accurate value of the ADC offset to be measured) (LJB 21 June 2007). 2. dark 2.1 dark/ 0s_100s Data is from the study regcal075. This study takes 2 full CCD 0 second exposures and two full CCD 100 second exposures. The middle 512 rows of the CCDs are used. 2.2 dark/bottom Data is from the study regcal071. This study takes 2 full CCD 100 second exposures using the bottom 512 rows of the CCDs. *Please note that the exposure time for this study was increased from 60 seconds to 100 seconds on 22 November 2007. 2.3 dark/long Data is from the study regcal016. This study takes 8 full CCD exposures with the following integration times: 100, 100, 150, 150, 300, 300, 600, 600 seconds. The middle 512 rows of the CCDs are used. 2.4 dark/prescan Data is from the study regcal074. This study takes 2 full CCD 100 second exposures. The first 50 prescan pixels are included. The top 512 rows of the CCDs are used. 2.5 dark/reduced_long Data is from the study regcal073. This study takes 4 full CCD exposures with the following integration times: 100, 100, 150 and 150 seconds. The middle 512 rows of the CCDs are used. 2.6 dark/short Data is from the study regcal015. This study takes 8 full CCD exposures with the following integration times: 1, 1, 10, 10, 30, 30, 60, 60 seconds. The middle 512 rows of the CCDs are used. 2.7 dark/top Data is from the study regcal072. This study takes 2 full CCD 100 second exposures using the top 512 rows of the CCDs. *Please note that the exposure time for this study was increased from 60 seconds to 100 seconds on 22 November 2007. 3. flat 3.1 flat/EUV Data is from studies regcal067 and regcal068. Regcal067 uses a QS pointing and 120 second exposures. Regcal068 uses an AR pointing and 20 second exposures. 3.2 flat/long Data is from the study regcal018. This study takes 8 full CCD exposures (1 sec) with the following LED on times: 60, 60, 80, 80, 100, 100, 120, 120 seconds. The middle 512 rows of the CCDs are used. 3.3 flat/overscan Data is from the study regcal070. This study takes 2 full CCD images with an LED on time of 100ms. Overscan pixels are included. The top 512 rows of the CCDs are used. *Please note that due to an oversight this study only included 1 exposure until June 2007 (should be 2 exposures) and until 17 July 2007 prescan pixels were included instead of overscan pixels. 3.4 flat/short Data is from the study regcal017. This study takes 8 full CCD exposures (1 sec) with the following LED on times: 0, 0, 10, 10, 20, 20, 40, 40 seconds. The middle 512 rows of the CCDs are used. 4. intensity Data is from the study regcal019. This study takes a 100 second full CCD exposure pointing at the QS, using the 1" slit. *Please note that since February 2007 this study has not been run as it is no longer required (the eis synoptic study has replaced it).
