We are going to investigate the possibility of using Wroclaw Maximum-
Likelihood algorithms in order to increase numerically the spatial resolution
of EIT images. This method was already applied successfully to YOHKOH/SXT
images of active regions. We would like to extend those results to the cooler
plasma observed by EIT.

As the first step, we will implement the so-called blind deconvolution method
with the aim to restore the point spread function (PSF), including the effects
of CCD pixelization. By enhancing the spatial resolution of sub-images centered
on appropriate solar targets, we could thus simultaneously refine the present
knowledge of the shape of the actual in-flight PSF.

The best EIT observations for this project should include active region
observations with high dynamic range (+/- 1000) and steep gradients, preferably
on the limb.
