EIT activity report for
2006/12/18 daily meeting

Planner: R.J. Leamon

DateStartEndGOESAR* OtherPADescription
2006/12/1508:4810:25  10930   FC activation (no apparent eruption,
but bright loops over channel from
11:36 to 14:00UT.
2006/12/1517:1218:36  10930   Failed filament eruption; can see it
rise and writhe, but then sinks back
down to N edge of AR.
2006/12/1602:00+  10930   AR now sufficiently close to limb to
see projection effects of writhing
filament.
2006/12/1608:4809:48  10930   Flux emergence/ loop reconfiguration
at trailing edge of AR.
Loop activity continues.
2006/12/1621:2404:36      FC activation about S10W30.
2006/12/1714:2418:48 C210930   From behind limb. (Probably M-class,
or maybe X-class had it occurred on
the solar disk.)
Outermost loops rise at 14:48UT, much
of the lower-lying stuff appears to fall
back to the Sun.
2006/12/1800:00+      Low-level above-the-limb loop activity
in AR10930, but otherwise, quiet sun.

*See note on active region numbers.
