1998-JUN-16

Comments: The scattered filament from the Southern region reconnects. A wave is formed along the west limb. The "tornado area" in the SSW is ejecting material. A CME comes from behind the limb at 05:15UT. A fast CME comes out of active region 8232 at approximately 17:50 UT. Large post flare loops formed in active region 8232, and can be seen clearly by 20:25 UT. GOES showed an M1 spike, perhaps in reaction to these loops. AT 23:16 UT, a small CME comes from active region 8243, on disk in the NE quadrant.
