Comments: Very large, fast CME in the Southwest. Seen in C2 at 13:40 UT at apporximately 3.5 solar radii. Event appears to originate over the 8180/8179 active region complex. NOAA/GOES reports M-class, long duration event in soft x-rays at approximately 12:00. Yohkoh shows this emission is coming from the top of arches over this complex. Huge CME in 195 Angstroms between 12:20 and 12:42 UT. Seen in ems19980325_CME_195.save. Brigth flare visible on Southwest limb from 12:42 UT.
