6.5 Accessing Nobeyama Radio Data

The Nobeyama radio correlation coefficients time series are available in the NTS database files. The routine RD_NTS will read the data, and the routine OPLOT_NTS will overplot the time series curve over a plot that already exists. An example is:
IDL> plot_goes, '1-dec-93', '2-dec-93'

IDL> oplot_nts

The Nobeyama polarized radio FITS images (GNP) are copied daily to the ISAS Yohkoh database. The Nobeyama total intensity radio FITS images (GNT) are copied daily to the ISAS Yohkoh database. The images are scaled from REAL data type into BYTE type to save space. A single image per day is available after Apr-93.

See the appendix of the Reference Guide for more details on the software and data which are available from NAOJ and Nobeyama.
