Solar sounding rocket news


SwRI SOPHIE sounding rocket The SOPHIE coronal helium abundance/solar EUV irradiance sounding rocket quicklook data are now available on the Web.

SERTS-2000 flight successful

The most recent flight of the NASA/GSFC Solar EUV Rocket Telescope and Spectrograph (SERTS) occurred on 2000 July 26 at 18:00 UT. Reports, results, and photos are also available from prior flights in '89, '91, '93, '95, and '96, including details of the objectives, instrumentation, and collaborative observations for each, at the SERTS Web site.

HRTS IX film developed

The Naval Research Laboratory High-Resolution Telescope and Spectrograph was launched, with a new spectrograph configuration, on 18 April, 1995 at 1800 UT. Click here for anonymous ftp access to the latest update on the results, which can be found in a file with a name of the form rocketnnn.txt.
