Points Of Interest

LASCO will be supporting the Equatorial Coronal Holes Campaign
(Jan 10 - Jan 13, and Jan 17 - Jan 22). The observing sequence
consists of high cadence (5 minutes) C2 orange Filter images at 
100 sec exposure for 6 hours periods (14:55 - 20:55 UT) between a 
pair of Pb sets. FOV: half-field (512x1024) over the West. No C3 
images during that time.


2008/01/15 (Tuesday)

11:30 UT  E Limb	Diffuse ragged front that seems to disintegrate 
			throughout C2.

	13:54 - 17:54 UT	LASCO Data Gap (C2 time).

2008/01/16 (Wednesday)

	  E Limb	Slow developpment of a system of faint loop 
	  		fronts since early in the day (difficult to
			give an exact time of first appearance).

Last C2 image available by the time of writing:  13:54 UT
