Bright Kreutz comet seen in C2 and C3 fields of view, 12/14 C2 01:31-09:54 UT before dissapearing behind the C2 occulting disk. This is SOHO-1418, 1418 comets discovered by SOHO since mission launch in December 1995.
09:54 UT N West Very thin spray-like front, top of a narrow and elongated loop front. 10:30 UT ES East Diffuse and very narrow loop-like front that fades through C2. 14:30 UT N West Loop front that seems to disintegrate throughout C2.
03:54 UT N West Elongated loop front (spray-like top). Trailing material. WIDTH in C3 at 11:18 UT: < 25 deg. 13:54 UT ES East Faint and diffuse jet-like front. 21:30 UT S East Faint and diffuse jet-like front.
06:30 UT E Limb Diffuse brightening precedes the development of a big loop (rather circular) front toward ESE, that seems to have a twist (kink). Faint diffuse extensions on ENE. Some trailing material on E. An apparently distinct front can be seen in the trailing material by 20:30 UT.
