LASCO Activity Report for
July 09, 2007 SOHO Science Daily Meeting

Planner: K. Schenk, G. Stenborg

Event times are first frame seen in C2 camera unless otherwise noted.
These are preliminary observations for the daily SOHO science discussions.
Final analysis is reported on the Lasco CME list.

Points Of Interest

2007/07/06 (Friday)

00:30 UT W Limb	Very ragged front toward WSW that fades throughout C3.

	20:30 - 23:54 UT	LASCO Data Gap (C2 time).

2007/07/07 (Saturday)

Note:
----
Multible B-class X-ray activity starting at around midday, which is due
to the presence of an active region just beyond the east limb.

E Limb	Slow developmnet of a system of very faint loop fronts
since early in the day. difficult to give an exact
			time of first appearance.

04:30 UT E Limb	Faint and diffuse front that apparently fades
			throughout C2.

15:30 UT SS West	Thin jet-like front.

17:30 UT SS West	Jet-like front.

2007/07/08 (Sunday)

Note:
----
Multible B-class X-ray activity continues (NOAA AR 10963). Some C-class events
as well.

E Limb	A relatively big faint twisted structure becomes
discernible early in the day (dfficult to give an
exact time of first appearance). Pseudo-continuous
outflow superposed in the LOS. WIDTH in C3 at 09:18
			UT: ~ 30 deg.

17:30 UT ES East	Diffuse front precedes the development of a big
twisted structure with a bright top. WIDTH of the
event in C3 at 03:18 UT (the next day): ~ 50 deg.

18:30 UT NN West	Extremely faint loop front. It fades throughout C2.

2007/07/09 (Monday)

Note:
----
Multible B-class X-ray activity continues (NOAA AR 10963). Some C-class events
as well.

EN East	Gusty outflow in the form of ragged fronts along
the day, at the northern leg of event reported to
start at 17:30 UT on previous day. In particular at
			around 00:54, 02:30, 04:54, and 08:54 UT.

ES East	Also some ragged fronts at the southern leg of event
reported to start at 17:30 UT on previous day. In
 			particular at 09:06 UT.

02:06 UT N Pole	Faint and diffuse expanding loop front. WIDTH in C3
at 13:42 UT: around 100 deg.

14:06 UT S West	Diffuse fan-like front.

13:54 UT S Pole	Diffuse jet-like front.
