Points Of Interest

2006/12/22 (Friday)

No significant activity.

2006/12/23 (Saturday)

08:30 UT E Limb	A very faint (apparently) twisted structure starts
to be discernible. It is difficult to give an exact
time of first appearance. It fades throughout C3.

2006/12/24 (Sunday)

15:30 UT S Pole	Brightening over the S Pole develops as a wide ragged
loop front (almost Partial Halo in the C2 FOV) followed
by some faint expanding loop fronts. The wide ragged
loop front is first seen in C3 at 17:18 UT developing
toward SSE. The angular span of the event in C3 by
20:18 UT is about 100 deg (from about PA 120 to 220).
Afterwards, the event gradually fades. By the end of
the day it is no longer discernible (LE around midway
to the end of the C3 FOV). GOES reported NO X-ray
events during the day (X-ray activity below the A-level.

21:30 UT E Limb	Ragged front that fades close to the inner edge of C3.

2006/12/25 (Monday)

06:30 UT E Limb	Not-well-defined front that quickly fades.

08:30 UT S Pole	Elongated blob-like front followed by some gusty
 			outflow.

19:31 UT S Pole	Jet-like front.

2006/12/26 (Tuesday)

05:54 UT E Limb	Diffuse and very faint loop-like front.
