LASCO Activity Report for
September 22, 2006 SOHO Science Daily Meeting

Planner: K. Schenk, G. Stenborg

Event times are first frame seen in C2 camera unless otherwise noted.
These are preliminary observations for the daily SOHO science discussions.
Final analysis is reported on the Lasco CME list.

Points Of Interest

KEYHOLE Operations:
-------------------
2006/08/21 - 2006/09/19 : 26 m Keyhole
2006/08/28 - 2006/09/13 : 34 m Keyhole

- 12 minutes cadence for C2 during Keyhole (only during contact
periods since 08/28, which are sparse...).

2006/09/18 (Monday)

06:26 UT E Limb	Faint front that quickly fades.

20:26 UT E Limb	Diffuse and expanding ragged front developing toward
ENE. It fades throughout C3. GOES reported a C1.0
			X-ray flare on NOAA AR 10910 (S10E49) between 19:25 -
20:01 UT with peak emission at 19:45 UT.

2006/09/19 (Tuesday)

00:54 UT E Limb	Diffuse and very faint loop front that quickly fades.

02:30 UT SS West	Diffuse jet-like front.

LASCO data gap between 15:54 - 21:54 UT.

2006/09/20 (Wednesday)

LASCO data gap between 00:00 - 06:30 UT.

07:54 UT ES East	Asymmetric and diffuse loop front. It fades throughout
			C3.

LASCO data gap between 13:54 - 16:30 UT.

18:30 UT SS West	Diffuse expanding loop front. It seems to expand all
above the southern limb early on next day. By 04:06 UT
on next day a system of very faint expanding loop
fronts seems to develop on WSW.

2006/09/21 (Thursday)

12:54 UT S west	Elongated front preceding apparently twisted structure.

23:30 UT S East	Expanding and diffuse loop front.

2006/09/22 (Friday)
