LASCO Activity Report for
July 11, 2006 SOHO Science Daily Meeting

Planner: K. Schenk, G. Stenborg

Event times are first frame seen in C2 camera unless otherwise noted.
These are preliminary observations for the daily SOHO science discussions.
Final analysis is reported on the Lasco CME list.
An archive of these reports is available.

Points Of Interest

2006/07/07 (Friday)

EN East	Much gusty ourflow all along the day.

WS West	Much gusty outflow and small ragged blob-like fronts
			all along the day.

03:54 UT W Limb	Elongated and diffuse loop front, brighter to N.
Barely discernible in C3, and only close to the inner
			edge.

	14:06 - 18:54 UT	LASCO Data Gap (C2 time).

19:31 UT W Limb	Very faint loop-like front apparently already under
development after data gap. Not discernible in C3.

22:30 UT W Limb	Elongated fan-like front developing toward WNW.

23:06 UT E limb	Ragged loop front superposed in the LOS with the gusty
			outflow. It fades throughout C3.

2006/07/08 (Saturday)

01:31 UT W Limb	Thin, elongated, and initially bright loop front.

02:30 UT W Limb	Similar feature to that reported at 01:31 UT,
developing slightly toward S of it.

05:30 UT SS West	Elongated and very diffuse loop-like front. It fades
			throughout C2.

07:31 UT W Limb	Very thin loop front (jet-like). It fades throughout
			C2.

09:54 UT W Limb	Another feature similar to that one reported at
			02:30 UT.

16:54 UT W Limb	Diffuse and initially bright loop front that fades
very close to the inner edge of C3.

21:30 UT E Limb	Gradual development of a diffuse front followed
by apparently twisted trailing material. The event
			fades throughout C3.

2006/07/09 (Sunday)

05:30 UT S West	Diffuse 'half-loop' front expanding toward S. It fades
			throughout C3.

11:30 UT WN West	Elongated loop front (top fan-like) brighter to N.
It fades throughout C3. A loop-like structure that
quickly fades can be seen by the time above the W limb.

14:06 UT W Limb	Loop-like structure that quickly fades, similar to
that one reported in previous event.

15:54 UT WN West	Another elongated loop front with faint loop-like
extensions to S. A loop-like structure that quickly
fades can again be seen by the time on W, as in the
event reported to start at 11:30 UT. Some infalling
			material on WSW.

19:31 UT N East	Extremely faint (barely discernoble) and diffuse
			front (only discernible in c2).

2006/07/10 (Monday)

E Limb	Very slow and gradual development of an extremely
faint system of loops since early in the day.

02:54 UT N Pole	Jet-like front.

04:30 UT S West	Faint elongated loop front that fades close to the
			inner edge of C3.

20:54 UT E Limb	Gradual development of a faint twisted structure.
