LASCO Activity Report for
April 10, 2006 SOHO Science Daily Meeting

Planner: K. Schenk, G. Stenborg

Event times are first frame seen in C2 camera unless otherwise noted.
These are preliminary observations for the daily SOHO science discussions.
Final analysis is reported on the Lasco CME list.

Points Of Interest

2006/04/07 (Friday)

06:54 UT S Pole	Diffuse jet-like front.

11:06 UT WN West	Elongated and ragged loop front. It fades throughout
			C2.

12:30 UT E Limb	Faint and elongated diffuse front that fades
			throughout C2.

17:30 UT S Pole	Faint and diffuse jet-like front.

19:31 UT N East	Jet-like front.

2006/04/08 (Saturday)

05:30 UT E Limb	Initially bright loop front. It fades veru close to
			the inner edge of C3.

06:06 UT W Limb	Bright ragged loop front. Twisted feature develops
superposed in the LOS with the trailing material,
			developing more slowly.

11:54 UT EN East	Diffuse jet-like front.

12:30 UT N East	Diffuse and very faint jet-like front.

22:30 UT S Pole	Jet-like front that develops slightly toward SSE.

23:54 UT E Limb	Diffuse and ragged loop front. It fades throughout C2.

2006/04/09 (Sunday)

03:30 UT WS West	Faint, diffuse and ragged loop front preceding a bright
and very ragged loop front (first seen at 04:30 UT), a
little bit to S. Some trailing material and gusty
 			outflow along the day.

22:30 UT W Limb	Bright and ragged front first seen in C3 above the W
Limb on next day at 00:18 UT. Diffuse extensions to N
and S. Early on next day the slow development of a
system of faint loops can be discerned on NW. Difficult
to establish its association, if any, to the bright
loop front (see also entry at 06:06 UT on next day).
It starts to be seen in C3 on next day at ~ 07:42 UT.

2006/04/10 (Monday)

06:06 UT S East	Very diffuse and faint expanding loop front with
faint extensions that extend all above the S Pole up
to the W limb, mixing up with the event described
on entry at 22:30 UT on previous day. No frontsided
signatures prior to the event on EIT 195 images, nor
X-ray events reported by the time.

Last C2 image available by the time of writing: 15:08 UT.
