Points Of Interest

Mercury can be seen now in the C3 FOV, in the southern hemisphere, moving 
from right to left. It is expected to be in the C3 FOV until around Feb 2.


2006/01/31 (Tuesday)

10:06 UT  WS West	Brightening just appearing develops as a ragged loop 
			front. It fades throughout C3.

16:30 UT  WS West	Another brightening just appearing develops as a ragged
			loop front. It also fades throughout C3.

18:55 UT  WN West	Extremely faint expanding loop front, the northern
			leg reaching the N Pole by the beginning of next day. 
			Barely discernible in C3.

20:58 UT  S West	Faint and diffuse front. It fades throughout C2. 

22:30 UT  S West	Another faint and diffuse front. It fades throughout C2.

2006/02/01 (Wednesday)

	  WS West	The slow development of a system of faint loops can be
			discerned since late on previous day partly superposed
			in the LOS with the faint and diffuse fronts on SW. 

01:31 UT  S West	Faint and diffuse front.

	04:30 - 09:06 UT	Temporary DSN Data gap.

12:30 UT  S West	Diffuse front.
