Points Of Interest

Mercury can be seen now in the C3 FOV, in the southern hemisphere, moving 
from right to left. It is expected to be in the C3 FOV until around Feb 2.


2006/01/30 (Monday)

00:54 UT  E Limb	Elongated and structured front developing slightly
			toward ESE. Ragged front follows by around 08:30 UT.

06:30 UT  EN East	Inverted V-shaped structure starts to be discerned 
			developing behind the system of faint loops reported
			to start developing on previous day (gradual event).

07:31 UT  WS West	Brightening along the streamer that quickly fades.

15:06 UT  EN East	Elongated and ragged loop front developing behind the
			event reported to start at 06:30 UT. It moves faster,
			so it reaches the V-shaped structure close to the inner
			edge of the C3 FOV.

17:30 UT  WS West	Another brightening along the streamer that quickly
			fades.

2006/01/31 (Tuesday)

	05:54 - 09:30 UT	Temporary DSN Data Gap.

10:06 UT  WS West	Brightening just appearing develops as a ragged loop 
			front.

Last C2 image available by the time of writing: 11:30 UT.
