Points Of Interest

Mercury can be seen now in the C3 FOV, in the southern hemisphere, moving 
from right to left. It is expected to be in the C3 FOV until around Feb 2.


2006/01/27 (Friday)

06:06 UT  S East	Very faint and diffuse elongated loop front developing
			toward ESE. It fades throughout C2.

21:30 UT  W Limb	Very faint and diffuse elongated loop front. It fades
			throughout C2.

22:06 UT  WS West	Very faint brightening along the streamer that quickly
			fades.

2006/01/28 (Saturday)

02:30 UT  WN West	Very narrow and elongated loop front. It fades 	
			throughout C3.

13:31 UT  WN West	Extremely faint -slow- loop front (difficult to give 
			an exact time of first appearance). First seen in C3
			by 22:18 UT.

11:30 UT  WS West	Diffuse front along the streamer that fades close to 
			the inner edge of C3.

20:30 UT  N Pole	Elongated jet-like front.

2006/01/29 (Sunday)

03:30 UT  N West	Faint and diffuse loop front. Couple of blob-like fronts
			seems to be discernible to S by 05:30 UT.

03:54 UT  WS West	Diffuse front along the streamer. Some small and faint
			ragged fronts along the day.

16:54 UT  EN East	Slow development of a system of faint loops. Difficult
			to give an exact time of first appearance.


2006/01/30 (Monday)

00:54 UT  E Limb	Elongated and structured front developing slightly
			toward ESE.

07:31 UT  WS West	Brightening along the streamer that quickly fades.

Last C2 image available by the time of writing: 11:06 UT.
