Points Of Interest

Mercury can be seen now in the C3 FOV, in the southern hemisphere, moving 
from right to left. It is expected to be in the C3 FOV until around Feb 2.


2006/01/25 (Wednesday)

01:31 UT  N Pole	Very narrow fan-like front (jet-like) developing 
			slightly toward NNW.

18:06 UT  S East	Very narrow and elongated fan-like front that quickly
 			fades.

21:30 UT  E Limb	Slow development of a ragged loop front with structured
			(twisted?) interior. Difficult to give an exact time of
			first appearance. See entry at 04:54 UT on next day.

21:54 UT  W Limb	Very narrow and elongated loop front that fades close
			to the inner edge of C3.

2006/01/26 (Thursday)

04:54 UT  E Limb	Small front developing behind the slow development of
			the ragged loop front reported to start at 21:30 UT on
			previous day.

06:30 UT  N West	Diffuse jet-like front.

09:06 UT  W Limb	Asymmetric and elongated fan-like front. It fades
			throughout C3.
