03:30 UT S West Extremely faint 'half-loop' front. It fades in C2. GOES
reported a C4.5 X-ray flare from NOAA AR 0682 (S13W23)
between 02:09 - 02:16 UT with peak emission at 02:13 UT.
06:30 UT W Limb Small, not well defined loop front that fades in C2.
07:31 UT N East Diffuse and ragged loop front. It fades close to the
inner edge of C3.
08:30 UT EN East Faint and elongated front, later surpassed by following
event.
11:06 UT EN East Bright ragged loop front and trailing material. Faint
extensions on SE by 12:54 UT. Couple of faint ragged
loop fronts on E a ENE starting at 15:30 UT and later
that fade throughout C3.
GOES reported an M2.6 X-ray flare from NOAA AR 0687
(N11E68) between 10:43 - 10:56 UT with peak emission
at 10:51 UT.
12:06 UT W Limb Faint not well defined front that fades throughout C2.
17:54 UT E Limb Ragged loop front. It fades throughout C3.
22:30 UT EN East Initially bright, explosive ragged loop front, later
surpassed by following event.
00:54 UT EN East Bright ragged loop front followed:
i) at 02:30 UT, a little bit to S by another bright loop
front (narrower),
ii) at 05:30 UT, at roughly the same PA as the one at 02:30,
by another similar front, which in turn it was preceded
at 04:30 UT by a fainter and elongated ragged front.
iii) at 07:31 UT by a wider (like the first one) bright
ragged loop front and trailing material.
By the time, GOES reported several C class X-ray
flares from NOAA AR 0687:
- a C7.8 X-ray flare (N11E60) between 00:18 - 00:52 UT
with peak emission at 00:40 UT,
- a C4.3 X-ray flare (N11E62) between 02:10 - 02:18 UT
with peak emission at 02:15 UT,
- a B4.9 X-ray flare (N09E57) between 04:00 - 04:11 UT
with peak emission at 04:08 UT,
- a C2.0 X-ray flare (N09E57) between 05:05 - 05:15 UT
with peak emission at 05:12 UT.
07:31 UT WS West Faint ragged loop front.
