SOHO is out of the telemetry keyhole. Comet ASAS entered the C3 FOV from the SW (bottom, a little bit to right) on 2004/10/05 (Tuesday) @ around 18 UT. Mercury entered the C2 FOV (from the right) on 2004/10/03 (Sunday) at ~ 17:12 UT. The two planets: i) Mercury (moving from right to left - close to the occulter), and ii) Mars (moving from left to right - close to the right edge of the C3 FOV, almost equatorial plane) are visible in the C3 FOV.
00:55 UT E Limb Bright loop front. It fades throughout C3. 00:55 UT W Limb Ragged loop front that fades throughout C3. 04:55 UT WN West Ragged and apparently twisted feature. Difficult to give an exact time of first appearance. 04:55 UT N East Very thin loop-like feature. It fades throughout C2. 12:00 UT N East Faint loop front becomes discernible at about 3.2 solar radii ("pair fromation": corresponding infalling material starts to be seen by that time). Couple of similar (fainter) events afterward. 12:59 UT N East Another very thin loop-like feature, almost jet-like, a little bit to S of event at 04:55 UT. It quickly fades. 16:58 UT W Limb Ragged front. 18:56 UT E Limb Bright ragged front and trailing material. 20:43 UT N East Another very thin loop-like feature, almost jet-like, at roughly the PA of event at 04:55 UT. It fades throughout C2. 22:06 - 00:00 UT Data Gap due to C3 Filter Wheel Hang at 22:22 UT.
00:00 - 02:34 UT Data Gap due to C3 Filter Wheel Hang at 22:22 UT. 05:55 - Present (~13:00 UT) Temporary Data Gap.
