SATURN exited the C3 FOV on 2004/07/18 (Sunday) at ~ 09:42 UT.
02:54 UT S East Extremely faint front (barely visible) that quickly fades. GOES recorded and X1.4 X-ray flare from NOAA AR 0649 (S10E39) between 01:43 - 02:30 UT with peak emission at 02:06 UT. 09:54 UT N East Ragged loop front that quickly fades. 10:06 UT W Limb Elongated and ragged loop front that fades in C3. 12:54 UT E Limb Faint loop front. It fades throughout C3. 15:54 UT E Limb Bright jet-like front, followed at ~ 17:30 UT by a similar one, not that bright. A faint and ragged asymmetric half-loop front develops between the 2 jets. 20:13 UT E Limb Expanding ragged loop front followed at ~ 04:30 UT on next day by a faint loop front developing slightly toward ESE.
06:30 UT W Limb Extremely narrow loop front developing toward WNW. It fades close to the inner edge of C3 FOV. 07:31 UT S West Very narrow and rather faint loop front that fades throughout C2. 14:30 UT N Pole Jet-like front that quickly fades. 18:30 UT W Limb Ragged loop front developing slightly toward WNW. At ~ 19:54 UT and superposed in the LOS, a not well defined loop front develops. 19:54 UT E Limb Ragged front that quickly fades, followed by a kind of faint loop front developing toward SE that fades throughout C3. Infalling material to N by ~ 20:30 UT.
01:32 UT S West Elongated loop front followed at ~ 05:30 UT by another front aparently at the PA of its northern leg. 09:30 - 16:30 UT Temporary Data Gap. 19:31 UT W Limb Ragged loop front. It fades throughout C3. 20:06 UT E Limb Very faint front developing superposed in the LOS with what looks like a slowly expanding system of faint loops. It is not discerned in C3. Another faint front can be discerned by 22:30 UT just appearing in C2. Extremely faint extensions can be guessed developing toward NNE.
00:54 UT E Limb Wide expanding system of faint loops. Brighter material by 05:30 UT, at the PA of the southern leg of the system of loops developing as an elongated and ragged loop front. Gusty outflow. 09:30 UT W Limb Bright asymmetric loop front with inner core and trailing material develops toward WNW.
