SATURN is still in the C3 FOV (Western hemisphere) after reappearing from behind the C3 occultor on 2004/07/10 (Saturday) at ~ 05:42 UT.
00:30 UT W Limb Faint and very narrow expanding loop front, followed at 04:54 UT by a slightly brighter spray developing slightly toward WSW. 02:30 UT S East Initially bright and narrow front along streamer accompanied by a faint and diffuse loop front to S. Very faint extensions also above the E Limb. The event fades quickly in C2 and is barely visible in C3 (toward SW). GOES recorded and X1.8 X-ray flare from NOAA AR 0649 (S09E51) between 01:30 - 01:48 UT with peak emission at 01:41 UT. 11:30 UT S West Faint elongated and narrow loop front. It fades in C3. 13:31 UT NN West Extremely faint and diffuse loop front preceding a faint expanding loop front at ~ 15:30 UT that fades throughout C3. 15:08 UT E Limb Very slow development of an expanding system of loops. Difficult to precise the exact time of first appearance. GOES recorded and X1.6 X-ray flare from NOAA AR 0649 (S10E43) between 18:15 - 18:28 UT with peak emission at 18:24 UT. By that time, structured and apparently twisted features develop in C2. By 22:30 UT the event spans from PA ~ 050 - 145 (C2). 23:30 UT WN West Faint fan-like front followed by an elongated loop front brighter to S at ~ 01:54: UT on next day, that fades throughout C3.
02:54 UT S East Extremely faint front that quickly fades. GOES recorded and X1.4 X-ray flare from NOAA AR 0649 (S10E39) between 01:43 - 02:30 UT with peak emission at 02:06 UT. 09:54 UT N East Ragged loop front that quickly fades. 10:06 UT W Limb Elongated and ragged loop front.
