Points Of Interest

Planet Mercury is now transiting the C3 field of view,
moving R to L

The bright object to the S in C3 images is
Alpha-Scorpio (Antares)

2002/11/25

07:31 UT S East	Faint spray-like front, another to N
			at 13:31

07:31 UT N East	Wide moderately bright loop fronts,
either residual to earlier partial halo
event or destabilised by it. Large part
of streamer removed as a result of the
			two events

13:31 UT N East	Narrow front, quite bright, another at 17:06,
then further faint ones for several hours

2002/11/26

08:40 UT N West	Initially bright asymmetric front with
			slight cavity. Brightest fastest feature
along streamer which has been swelling
			brightening and rising extremely slowly
for ~24 hrs - partial blowout in progress?
Possibly destabilised by partial halo CME
			on 2002/11/24

09:30 - 13:30 UT	Temporary DSN data gap
