Additional stray light in C3 images now removed during standard image processing. C2 high-cadence pB sequence campaign now running. C2 pB sequences being taken every hour at the expense of 1 normal C2 image and 1 normal C3 image. Campaign runs to 2002/08/02 (possibly later, TBD) Planet Jupiter is now in C2's field of view, moving L to R Planet Mercury is now in C3's field of view, moving R to L
07:31 UT N East Wide bright loop front with some core-like material. Initially over N pole but soon fills quadrant. Gusty outflow in NE for rest of day 14:06 UT S East Sequence of very faint ragged fronts
08:06 UT HALO Faint front in NW is full halo CME by 08:42 though faint in S. Fairly fast with small amount of trailing material mainly in NW. X1.8 X-ray flare AR0030 N19W30 11:42 UT HALO Wide bright loop front just visible in E, spans ~200 deg crossing both poles by 12:30, also very faint emission around rest of occulting disk. Probably backsided
