Points Of Interest

Planet Mercury visible in C3 images, moving right to left

2002/04/05

11:54 UT N West	Faint system of loop fronts, quite slow,
spans ~140 deg over N Pole by 13:54. No
EIT event so most probably backsided

22:26 UT N West	Fairly bright fan

2002/04/06

02:06 UT E Limb	Narrow ragged front along faint streamer

03:34 UT N Pole	Faint fronts from NNE to NNW

06:50 UT S East	Sequence of loop fronts, fairly narrow
			and faint, cavity follows

17:06 UT N West	Faint ragged loop front along streamer

21:26 UT Partial	Bright loop front over E limb and marginally
Halo to S, eventually spans ~200 deg from PA 280
			- 120. Bright in E and into NE, fainter over
pole and in NW. Bright loops follow in E

2002/04/07

00:06 UT S East	Bright fan-like front, quite fast.
			Cavity follows

00:26 UT N East	Bright ragged front, fairly fast. Further
fronts from 03:26 then prolonged outflow for
			rest of day

10:26 UT S West	Extremely faint loop front, quite wide

14:50 UT S East	Narrow loop front disrupts nearby streamer,
			cavity follows

21:26 UT S East	Ragged loop front, narrower and fainter than
			previous event, and further N

2002/04/08

03:06 UT Partial	System of faint loops fronts, wide and slow,
Halo initially in SE but eventually spanning ~150 deg
			up into NW
