LASCO Activity Report for
November 13, 2000 SOHO Science Daily Meeting

Planner: S. Plunkett, K. Schenk

Event times are first frame seen in C2 camera unless otherwise noted.

Points Of Interest

High energy Protons still seen in the Lasco images!

This Proton event of Nov 8th, 2000 was the second largest of this
Solar Max cycle at a Proton Flux Unit (PFU) level of 13,300.
For more on SEP (Solar Energetic Particles) see: The SDAC.

2000/11/09

Due to increase of Proton particles in Lasco images from
CME event last eve 2000/11/08, the data is still "Snow-Stormed".

2000/11/10

04:00 - 19:00 UT Lasco Program annomally. No images.

19:51 UT S West	Bright loop front, sizeable. Complex interior
			core structures.
21:26:08 UT C2 Running Difference Image.

2000/11/11

09:06 UT S West	Narrow jet-like event, rough LE, small.

15:26 UT S East	Faint loop front, disapates quickly.

15:26 UT NN West	Faint loop front, small.

19:27 UT S East	Wide loop front, slow. Develops into
sizeable event with loop core. Continued outflow.

2000/11/12

04:26 UT N East	Bright loop front. Twisted interior structures
			with continued outflows.

04:26 UT West Limb	Bright front. Fast CME event with core.
			Much continued outflow.

07:50 UT S West	Large helmet front already in progress.
			Complex core structures.

09:06 UT NN West	Wide fan front, disapates quickly.

09:06 UT S West	Another loop front is emitted in outflows
of 07:50 UT event. Much more continued outflow.
09:50:05 UT C2 Running Difference Image.

14:50 UT West Limb	Rough LE, jagged, jet-like.

15:50 UT N East	Loop front with twisted interior structures.
