Point of Interest

Planet Venus in C3 field from West side, as of 5/17.

SOHO-121 Kreutz Sungrazing comet.  Discovered by D. Hammer using the
automated search program.  This comet was overlooked in archival data from
November 4, 1998.  A noticable comet with a tail, seen in C2 and C3 data 
from 11/4/1998 03:30 - 16:18 UT.

2000/05/30

06:54 UT  East SE	Bright loop front CME. Continued outflow.

15:30 UT  SS East	Slow moving ragged front event, sizeable.

19:45 - 20:45 UT	Data gap.

23:06 UT  N East	Narrow jet.

2000/05/31

00:54 UT  N East	Fast jet, ragged front.  Behind event of
			23:06.  Continued outflow.

08:06 UT  N East	Fan shaped front, 150 degrees wide with 
			material emitted spanning across Southern
			hemisphere. Possible partial halo event. EIT
			sees a large filament eruption with bright
			loop arcade afterwards near disk center.

12:06 UT  S East	Narrow jet.
