The halo CME has bulk portion towards the E as it propagates outwards. The CME wraps to the N and S as it progresses almost becoming a full halo. The halo CME is result of a M3.4 flare centered around S15E88(3584), just beyond the SE limb. The flare is faccompanied by opening field lines,EUV wave and post-eruptive arcades seen best in SDO AIA 193/171. NOAA/GOES reports a M3.4 flare 03:04/03:54/04:10 UT STEREO Beacon Data COR2 A, Preliminary time/height at 5 points of measurement gives a velocity of 1275.6 km/s @PA 95.48. STEREO COR2A shows a halo CME emerging from the E beginning at approximately 3:53 UT. The halo CME propagates outwards towards the E while wrapping around to the N and S Preliminary UCMEO velocity and position measurements are delivered first.
