The bulk of the halo CME propagates outwards in the east and south direction. The halo CMEs source is a filament eruption on the Earth-facing disk at S15E00 to S15E35. The filament begins to detach at 8:27 UT seen best on SDO AIA 193, 131. The event is followed by post-eruptive arcades and dimming in the region. STEREO Beacon Data COR2 A, due to gaps in data from 10:38 - 15:23 UT, only the beginning of the CME could be captured. Preliminary time/height at 5 points of measurement gave 797.8 km/sec@ PA 99.74. STEREO COR2A shows a partial halo CME emerging from the SE at approximately 9:23 UT. The CME continues to propagate outwards in the east direction before the gap in data beginning at 10:38 UT. Preliminary UCMEO velocity and position measurements are delivered first.
