Due to degraded images and the quick movement of the CME, the speed for C2 could not be delivered at this time. The CME is associated with a solar flare centered on N14W73 (AR 13413). LASCO shows extreme proton flux in the field of view. (SEP) NOAA/GOES reports a M1.2 flare from AR 13413 02:54/03:51/04:47 UT STEREO Beacon Data COR2 A, shows a bright partial halo CME in the NW direction beginning at 3:23 UT. Preliminary time/height measurements gives a velocity of 1449.2 km/sec @ PA 285.30 using 4 points of measurement. Preliminary UCMEO velocity and position measurements are delivered first. Images, movies, and time/height information for this event will be available at: https://umbra.nascom.nasa.gov/lasco/observations/halo/2023/230901 Best Regards, --James Tabourne BT [Images from original message are omitted here] ________________________________________________ Soho-halo-alert mailing list Soho-halo-alert@mail.nascom.nasa.gov https://mail.nascom.nasa.gov/mailman/listinfo/soho-halo-alert
