SOHO/LASCO  HALO CME July 13, 2023 FARSIDE

C2 Start Time:      6:24 UT

C3 Start Time:      7:54 UT 

Type of CME:
Symmetric HALO CME — FARSIDE
pa1: 000      pa2:  360       Total Width:  360 degrees

Velocity Measurements:

C2:    8 points     467.7 km/sec @ PA 255.60
C3:    11 points   506.9 km/sec @ PA 255.45
Average through both(C2/C3) fields:  510.4 km/sec  Acceleration: 3.57 m/sec^2. 

COMMENT: LASCO C2/C3 show a relatively slow moving faint full halo CME. Due to the CME being a farsided event, SDO/AIA could not identify exact cause of eruption. 

 STEREO Beacon Data
 COR2 A, shows a faint slow moving halo CME originating directly west .
 Preliminary time/height measurements gives 512.9 km/sec @ 219.45 degrees
