C2 Start Time:      17:12 UT

C3 Start Time:      17:42 UT  

Type of CME:
Assymmetric HALO CME — FRONTSIDE
pa1:  352      pa2:  200       Total Width:  208 degrees

Velocity Measurements:

C2:    4 points     1046.4 km/sec @ PA 95.00
C3:    16 points   620.1 km/sec @ PA 95.40 
STEREO COR-2: 8 points  636.6 km/s @ PA: 113.44

Average through both(C2/C3) fields:      662.7 km/sec  Acceleration: -27.53 m/sec^2.  

COMMENT: LASCO C2/C3 shows a bright leading edge with core moving in the SE direction propagating into a partial HALO CME.

The partial-Halo is associated with a flare of GOES Class X1.1 (AR 13341) centered at location [S15, E65] followed by dimming in the NW direction. A post-erupt arcade follows the CME.

STEREO Beacon Data COR2 A, shows the CME in the SE direction starting at 17:23 UT. Preliminary time/height measurements gives a velocity of 636.6 km/sec @ PA 113.44 using 8 points of measurement.
      
Preliminary UCMEO velocity and position measurements will be delivered first.
