SOHO/EIT was running a high-cadence (17 minutes average) campaign of full-field half-resolution 195 Å images on May 12, 1997. A coronal Moreton wave, similar to the waves observed on April 1 and 7 1997, can be seen in both the 195 and difference images of the event. The measured velocity of the wave front (in the plane of the image) is 351 km/sec.
